A modest proposal

In the Twitterverse, Darwinian evolution seems to be alive and well. New species are thriving, mostly due to their  abhorrent nature. One of these, I have named Twittertrogs. (AKA twitter troglodytes). These are rabid liberals whose innate sense of entitlement renders them incapable of discussion with anyone who doesn't agree with them. Having a discussion with many liberals is like trying to play chess with a pigeon. The bird struts about the board knocking over pieces, shitting on the board, then struts off, firmly believing it won the game, also pecking the crap out of anyone trying to curb its destructive behavior. 

One need only look at the basic beliefs of the generic liberal to understand this tendency. The basic tenant of the liberal is that people cannot and should not make decisions for themselves. unless specifically approved by the "narrative". This means that they adore a powerful, intrusive and authoritarian government, suppression of free speech and definitely of critical thinking.   

The average person cannot make truly moral decisions, according to the liberal mindset. They must be curtailed and contained by force if need be. AOC famously stated that anyone who supported Trump should be incarcerated and "reprogrammed". If that sounds like something from the Chinese Communist Party, it is, and she, like most progressive liberals, agree with the CCP in most things. An elite group of powerful and "enlightened" individuals should make decisions for everyone, enforced by the military and police if necessary. Pelosi had no problem putting the Capitol under martial law for an indefinite period to make sure the Democrats got what they wanted, and by force if needed. Unconstitutional? Yes, but Liberal Democrats really don't give a shit about the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. 

Unfortunately, their dystopic and myopic view of society and government does not work. San Francisco is a perfect example of liberal created dystopia. Everywhere leftist local governments exist, so does increased violent crime, social injustice, anti-family and anti- white, anti Asian anti Jew rhetoric and social behavior. The Democrats have successfully turned parts of our country into third world shitholes. Their idea of equality is to drive down everyone to a common level of misery and social dysfunction with a small group of wealthy and powerful people living high on the hog on their dime.

The Democratic Party of today is a near perfect reflection of the Nazis in 1932 post Reichstag fire Germany. The SA (Sturm Abteilung) of today is Antifa and BLM, while the DOJ takes the role of the SS (Schusstaffel) and Gestopo. The strategy of the Nazi party was to manufacture a crisis and blame it on a certain group or groups. Todays Jews are Christian, white and members of traditional families. Asians are a target of black activists because they pose a threat to the minority status employed by and enjoyed by black activists. 

Stalin said he brought the country to its knees by control of the media, control of travel and especially disarming the public. When only the police have guns, only the police decide what you can and cannot do. Period. This has been true for every tyranny in history, every single one. 

The liberals do not belong in control, ever. They can be good as a check against the rampant greed of the business man and big business. That is all. No liberal can say no to a new tax , nor can they stop spending other people's money. They also cannot keep from overreach in their tenure in public office. 

Critical Race Theory, "WOKE" and "gender equlity" / "gender fluidity" are all abhorrent in terms of the moral, social and financial disasters they cause. Hypocrisy and a sense of entitlement are both hallmarks of the liberal mindset, as well as being necessary to accept the liberal narrative. Just scroll through a few liberal posts of Twitter is rife with liberals who demonstrate the above characteristics. Take a look for yourselves. 2022 may be a very interesting year, in the sense of the old Chinese curse "may you live in interesting times"

New Year's Resolution: Keep it simple, stupid.

 

When I read the news, I often have to stop and rewind because I find my mind balking at accepting the possibility that anyone can be so dumb, ignorant, evil, midguided, etc. Then I reread what I just read, taking off my almost-70 glasses and make it in context of the current woke/liberal democrat country. Unfortunately, most of it not only makes sense, but is inevitable in that context. 

I have done a fair amount of reading on the liberal left and what they say vs what their core political platforms actually are. The basis of political liberalism is the idea that individuals cannot make moral choices left to their own devices. The irony of the "democratic" party not basically believing in democracy as viable is quite bitter in taste, but considering the progressive democrat as an individual and a group, this is unsurprising. The present Democratic Party seems to think the novel 1984 is a political guidebook, not a cautionary tale. 

in 1984, the government has taken the extreme progressive position that it must control everything, for the good of the people, of course. The police enforce correct behavior, thought and speech. If one deviates from that set of parameters, one is captured, tortured, broken and reformed into a harmless, if not coherent, person; or they may just kill you. 

AOC publicly stated that she made a list of people who should be placed in one of the old Japanese internment camps from WWII and "rehabilitated" into correct thinking, as well as being punished for supporting President Trump. Of course the MSM never said much about this. It is scary to think that a prominent Democratic Congresswoman would want to flout the Constitution she swore to uphold and protect, but what most people don't hear about is how pervasive the support for her idea was among Democrats, both in and outside government. 

What ideas are priority in the progressive mind? Mostly that Whites should be subjugated. Groups like BLM, which the progressives publicly adore, believe there sould be a black supremacist aprtheid state where only non-whites should have poser. This goes hand in hand with the revisionist history movement, Critical Race Theory and removal of anything "too White". Anyone questioning this madness is, of course, racist. 

2022 promises to be interesting.

Chris Cuomo was fired for sexual "misconduct" and covering up his brother's (Governor Cuomo) "sexual misconduct". Wrong reason. Andrew Cuomo is guilty of negligent homicide in the deaths of hundreds of elderly patients who were warehoused in nursing homes full of Covid patients at his order. Trump literally sent a Navy Ship with thousands of quarantine units that Cuomo refused to use to make a political show against Trump. Chris Cuomo covered this up. Andrew Cuomo killed hundreds if not thousands of NY elderly for the sake of political gain and moved his own mother out of a nursing home prior to doing this because he was well aware that his move would terminate the lives of untold thousands of elderly patients. They should both be held accountable for these deaths. 

I am ashamed that our society holds the lives of older people as so unimportant. Cuomo is fired from CNN for touching (allegedly) some woman's backside, but his role in coverup of literal murder by proxy isn't even an issue. Same for Andrew Cuomo. He is brought down by allegations of "sexual misconduct" , not rape, but not even a mention of the loss of lives he caused, all of which could have been saved, if not for his Trump Derangement Syndrome. 

We, as a society have been brainwashed to accept the deaths of babies and old people without concern. A woman's convenience and feelings can brings down a powerful governor because of the "Me Too" mentality, but nobody cares about the rights of the unborn and the elderly. Yes, both Cuomo brothers belong in jail, but not for the reasons being used. It is both sad and disgusting that this is happening with not one mention of the thousands of lives these two criminals have callously betrayed and cut off, and that is a damning charge against our liberal woke society. Their deaths , the deaths of the most vulnerable in our sick society, just don't matter enough to even discuss. Copping  a feel of some woman's ass, however, is  enough to bring down a dynasty in NY. 

I am not condoning sexual harassment by any means, but our lopsided and perverse social perspective is simply horrible. What is wrong with our media and our society? Our priorities could not be more wrong, but most of you enlightened people won't care, because asses matter, people do not. And so it goes. 

 

 

The Socialist/Progressive police state in Australia has, since its draconian gun confiscation, tried to suppress the fact that it violated its citizens civil rights without cause. The claim that gun confiscation decreased violent crime is false, even when the "fact checkers" at Politico cherry picked years and data to try to bolster that (socialist/progressive initiated) claim. 

In fact, according to the Australian government’s own statistics, a number of serious crimes peaked in the years after the ban. Manslaughter, sexual assault, kidnapping, armed robbery, and unarmed robbery all saw peaks in the years following the ban, and most remain near or above pre-ban rates. The effects of the 1996 ban on violent crime are, frankly, unimpressive at best.

It’s even less impressive when again compared to America’s decrease in violent crime over the same period. According to data from the U.S. Justice Department, violent crime fell nearly 72 percent between 1993 and 2011. Again, this happened as guns were being manufactured and purchased at an ever-increasing rate.

So although you have fewer firearm-related deaths when you disarm law-abiding civilians, violent crime increases, because there is now NO deterrence to criminals. Even a criminal with a knife can rob, rape and murder someone who is unarmed, and as seen in France, Germany and England, they do.

 

 

Try to imagine that there is a world where the White House is inhabited by a competent team and the Congress by skilled and dedicated legislators. Yeah, Can't, I know, not in this term for sure. The problem with Democrats is that, along with an insatiable need to spend other people's money is a real problem with overreach. They just cannot help themselves. 

 

The current regime can't find their collective as with both hands in the proverbial windstorm, because they weren't meant to. The long game for the Democrats is to beggar this country, countering the gains made by the Trump administration, but blaming him for the failures, or deliberate sabotage of the economy and social structure. At their core, liberal Democrats hate the USA, hate it with an intensity that most conservatives cannot imagine. Soros and the rest of the liberal elite are wallowing in their plot to make America a globalists dream of another third world shithole.

 

 In case you don't think liberals want a police state, look at what the liberals have done in New Zealand and Australia, both formerly fiercely independent, individualist nations. Now, however, they are disarmed, oppressed and cowed. Police literally beat people up and cuff them for not wearing a mask, When the Ausies were first disarmed by the government, violence against elderly people increased 3 fold in less than a month. Gangs knew old people were unarmed and unprotected, and they made the best of it,

We have a demented pedophile and a "woke" hooker nominally running things, although that situation is a subject for another post. Usually the incompetence of the President and VP is blunted somewhat by public pressure from the press and other media, but the media is broken and most of the so called journalists are so wrapped up in the liberal narrative, they are literally unaware of the goings on in the White House. Those who do have any idea of the snake pit the Oval Office has become are told what to ignore and what to spin. So much so that the White House PR department and the media are now indistinguishable. Instead of reporting factually on the brazen negligence of Harris, the media did a fawning fluff piece on her new shoes. This is the stuff of sitcoms, and the fact that it is a real situation should be producing hysteria in the media.

 

As it is, the media is fully in puppet mode with the upper echelon of the democratic party pulling the strings. A former employee of MSNBC quipped that the upper management did such micromanagement that the front line journalist no longer even wrote their reports. Those were almost entirely (and in some cases, literally) dictated by the senior management. It didn't matter what the reporter saw or reported, the story was rewritten and reported to the public as the political powers dictated. 

 

Things in Washington have become so egregious, however, that even the most leftist news outlets are realizing that they look bad, very bad, and have not been credible for the last decde at least. Aside from the most fanatically liberal radicals, most people no longer even expect the "news" to be news. Even calling it opinion is a stretch, as the "opinion" is not that of the reported, it is what they are told to say, as if they really believed it. They know better, but the person who signs their paycheck is their God. Amen.

Couple of things, Biden is a figure head, a puppet designed to absorb all the attention. Most military folks just do the job and don't have any more perspective than civilians on this issue. We spend far more than we need to by having an expeditionary military that operates under the premise that we need to fight them there so we don't have to fight them here. The truth is, we'd not have to fight them anywhere if we were not over there and we are not the international cop on the beat. Further, if we were really concerned about security we'd not have a wide open southern border. Every dollar we spend on this game is a dollar we don't spend on our own schools, infrastructure or social programs. We spend over $70 to $100 billion a year on maintaining existing military bases and sites around the world that have nothing to do with actually defending this nation. We maintain 12 expensive carrier battlegroups to get there fistest with the mostest with portable tactical airpower to far away places to get involved in other people's issues when land based airpower is cheaper, more survivable and better at defending this nation, we give Israel and Egypt each $1.8 billion in security assistance annually and have done so since the 1978 Camp David Accords....that's over 43 years X $3.6 billion, do the math...how many schools, how much Medicare funding and infrastructure is that do you suppose? We pay dues to NATO in the millions even though the Marschall Plan was a complete success and those rich European Countries have long been able to fully defend and protect their nations from a USSR that collapsed in 1989 and has no plans to invade through the Fulda Gap....not really. We have been in a stand off in South Korea for over a half century defending them with our forces when I see Hyundais all over the place........make sense to you? Then we give away many billions in Security Assistance and Foreign Aid for an inconsistent and constantly changing foreign policy while we have to have a major political war to build a frigging border wall. We host the UN in NYC when it should be headquartered in the third world in some place like in Port a Prince Haiti where its real mission is and you mentioned AWACs....those 707 airframes with TF33 engines are 1970s technology while other nations are sporting the latest thing in airframe and radar technology....because those 33 airframes are operating on a shoe string budget. Bottom line, we could have far better defense designed around the proven concept of deterrence for far less, our borders could be better secured and we'd piss off a whole lot less people a round the world by minding our own business and do the smart thing....... and that is be an example of a well run, law abiding nation of free citizens rather than a world wide busy body and minion of the New Word Order operated by a shadow government, the Deep State.......... if we lost the really really really really stupid expeditionary military structure....keep some portion of course but be focused primarily on defending our nation then we could do it for a whole lot less and do it better. Here's your reading assignment for today. Now, cast you eyes to the federal beast....those liberal corruptions in congress are on a spending spree.....infrastructure and social whatever multi trillion dollar pork laden bills that will collapse this economy but, first you'll have hyper inflation and get to watch foreign nationals stream across our border to feast on our expensive, tax paying citizen funded social programs.....you are being raped....let's review, raped and for greater clarity.....raped and they are doing it because we as a people are ignorant....that word was ignorant. You as a free citizen can choose what you read, what you attend, what you support. On social media, you have the option to scroll on past or block anyone who you feel is stepping over the line, using hateful language or misrepresenting something.....you have that ability and that right. In this free nation, the use of censorship based on esoteric, equitably or poorly enforced and frankly subjective "community standards", is a violation of your First Amendment right of freedom of speech and a method of oppression. If you control speech on your site as an admin or do not speak what you believe due to this oppression, then you're accepting the chains of slavery on yourself and/or on others G.Gobel.

The non negotiable right of free speech. The liberal mind is a creation of the massive ignorance of this nation. Several generations of high school grads who were not taught History, Civics or Government (or even basic life skills like doing their taxes, having a budget, relating to police while knowing their constitutional rights at a traffic stop) and have been marinated in liberal propaganda by liberal socialist propagandists masquerading as News Media and educators. This herd, that votes at the immature age of 18 for the trendy and the contrived is what you call the liberal mind and it is intolerant as well, as your own experience should show you. That said, discussion even in the slightly protected adult group discussion sites ......you group admins should know this and not be out there with less concern for the existence of a group than you are for its vital rights of free speech and expression are part of the problem....you have become prison trustees. How is it that anyone is blocked on an adult discussion site when membership is to a degree voluntary and controlled by admins? What need of community standards is there when you can block and shun for yourself and you choose membership? Think. Then there is the bullying argument....kids need to be protected on the internet they say. Well, kids are protected from buying alcohol and smokes and we are protected from them driving cars at too early an age while we allow them to roam free among adults even on what could be exclusively adult discussion sites and then we limit adults if they say what we label "hate speech" or "bad language". That is insane and it is just one of the excuses for this oppression. When we let the propagandists do our thinking for us we get what we have. G.Go

The corruption of the federal government is now severe. If this were a private concern, I'd voice my concerns but as Snowden was held as a criminal and many have bought into that attack on this patriot whistleblower, I must remain mute on those concerns.

 

Please post for Veteran's Day:What most Americans think of when they think of the military are the troops we have deployed in the Middle East…….expand your perspective…… It's the young sailor on a nuclear submarine, the maintenance troop on a B-52 bomber in a northern tier base freezing his butt off on a cold open flight line, the missile control officer in a silent bunker at ground zero for any preemptive strike, the coast guards man in a cutter off our coast in rough seas that do more to protect this country from attack than the iconic Navy Seal, infantry grunt or marine patrolling some mountain pass in Afghanistan. A dangerous job to be sure and one requiring great training and physical capabilities. But.....the unsung heroes are the troops that man the walls. The ones that provide nuclear deterrence, air supremacy, surveillance, and homeland defense that are forgotten by the mainstream media and the thrill seeking, video game raised people of this country. The memes are always of the troops we've put in the hot spots but never let us forget who is directly protecting your homeland.......the unsung heroes of the military. They don't make such dramatic memes but, I will take them over the others if I have to choose. I’m conflicted. Every time I see something on TV about the Wounded Warrior Organization I’m proud of Americans for caring for our veterans who were maimed in combat. Strangely, it upsets me as well…..why you ask.? It upsets me because there should be nothing left wanting for these people and their families by this rich nation that even leaves a niche for Wounded Warriors to operate in. Before we give a dime in foreign assistance, security assistance or even to buy those extra F-35s……we should take care of all the needs of the men and women who fought and were wounded. They should be sent, not to the troubled VA operation but, to the best clinics this country has to offer and the federally collected taxes should pay for it. All of it. One other thing, those of you who are conflicted about these deployments and wars that seem to be unending and in which we the people seem to have less and less to say……remember, a serviceman or woman, by taking the oath, training and taking up arms is serving to protect our rights and freedoms just by the deterrence of being in the Armed Forces. The issue of protesting political decisions or the conduct of military leadership has nothing to do with supporting our troops. They may or may not be correctly deployed in the defense of our freedom but by being in that uniform, they deserve the respect that goes with the willingness to serve and protect. That is deterrence and it is separate from the criticisms that may or may not be valid in protesting leadership’s use our military. Last thing, honoring our veterans is something that must be more than lip service in this country. If you served or, you earned your retirement and benefits, you have your full constitutional rights and you should be honored for the time you served. Retired military or veterans are not an inconvenient burden but a testimonial to the preservation of our rights and freedoms that has occurred through the deterrence of aggression by a strong, effective military. The Last Few Years in Virginia Teaches the Country Everything It Needs to Know About the Democrats.

 The latest news reports from one of the extremely leftist MSM in Virginia recently stated that "if the Republicans win, they will, as they usually do, cut taxes. McAuliffe will, if he wins, provide free preK classes for underprivileged children.." Sounds a lot like virtue signaling. In fact it is virtue signaling in intent. Also it ignores where that money for the projects actually came from, namely, the taxpayers.

Obviously, the liberal MSM is so very out of touch with working class America (indeed, generally ignores them) that they don't even notice that their message is tone deaf in the extreme. The working class, by both tacit and overt admission from both sides of the aisle, pay too much in taxes already. The Republicans point out, accurately, that the Democrats have one superpower; they spend other people's money. Unfortunately for them, the cash cow is running dry, and they have leeched the Social Security funds to the point of anemia, funds NEVER intended for the uses the Democrats have put them to for years. Social Security is not an entitlement, it is a fund the working class paid into with the understanding and legal promise that none of that money would be squandered by politicians, particularly Democrat liberals, to buy votes or support perks and projects designed to enrich the coffers of leftist politicians and organizations. 

From murdering babies to funding free telephones and incentives for multigenerational ghetto welfare moms to have more and more illegitimate children from men who never have and never will support their children to political payoffs for dictators and terrorist groups overseas, to encouraging illegal immigration, our hard earned money has been used for supporting an immoral, socially poisonous and degenerate society segment that is about as close to leeches as a human can get, all without my or anyone else's consent or approval. The left has used Social Security to buy black votes, plain and simple, committing a crime that should put them in jail were it committed by a business or securities and exchange group, and to support countries that hate us and fully intend for us to fall. All this in the name of advancing a leftist globalist agenda that leads us into a downward spiral into ruin and eventual third world shithole status. 

NO amount of media spin nor Democratic political rhetoric changes the fact that the Democrats have betrayed us, the working class of America, and they have no problem in metaphorically rubbing our collective nose in that mess. I have many friends who are liberals, and otherwise intelligent, cogent and rational people. When it comes to the liberal narrative, though, truth and objective reality be damned. Liberal narrative uber alles! It is sick and devoid of merit or benevolence. Cynicism and hypocrisy are core principles of the modern leftist and they really don't care what we the people think. They view 1984 as a guide book, not a cautionary tale. We are all in this particular handbasket and well on our collective way to Hell, whether we wanted to come along or not.
