Gary Gobel is a good friend from 50 years now. In all that time, I have never felt him to be anything but a levelheaded and intelligent, along with astute, individual. Even if we weren't friends I would admire him. He was a Karate student of mine, the tall guy in the center.

I have great respect for Israel and anytime one of her unfriendly neighbors have tried to take that powerhouse on, they have had their butts handed to them. I have never understood antisemitism, it seems just illogical and cruel to me.

That said, you are a free American Citizen, and you can donate to and even go fight for Ukraine or Israel, just leave our government out of it. 

Further, the largest foreign lobby in our government is the Israeli lobby that funds pro-Israel candidates and works against anyone campaigning for office that is not an Israeli supporter.....this is done in our representative republic. I have an issue with that as such foreign lobbies, in my opinion, should be illegal in this country. This is our government, our tax revenue, our armed forces and NOT theirs. Period and unless there is an American Lobby in their government I have not heard of,  it needs to stop now.

The Camp David Accords of 1978: "Notably, the treaty that resulted from the second “framework” also called for the United States to provide both countries with billions in annual subsidies, including military aid. Under the terms negotiated, Egypt receives $1.3 billion annually in military aid from the United States, while Israel receives $3 billion".............this is the only reference that I could find on line now regarding US payments but previously I found that the payments were $1.8 billion annually to each or a $3.6 billion a year since 1978. That tax revenue (45 years at $3.6 billion came to $162 billion) would have upgraded a whole lot of stuff in this country and there is no peace in Palestine.

Further, if any nation on this planet owes a debt to Israel, it's Germany and not us. You see Germany defending Israel?

Idaho Murders Point out that "it's the criminal, not the weapon, stupid!"

The above misguided article focuses on the statements made by the alleged murderer when he was arrested. What everyone conveniently misses routinely is that the focus is on the weapon, not the criminals. The left wants to give a pass to criminals and prosecute the weapon, preferably a gun. The damnable leftist narrative is obscuring the real problem. 

We are faced with a mental health crisis and we have our collective head in the sand. The HIPPA laws, originally designed to promote efficient sharing of medical information, have instead allowed equally misguided leftist activists to shield criminals from justice. Also, it is practically impossible to intervene to stop an obviously dangerous juvenile from killing people. This is both dangerous and unnecessary. While everyone acknowledges it to be true, nobody wants to buck the system or defy the narrative and do something about it. Stupid is as stupid does. 

The solution is simple. We stop pretending there is a problem. We hold everyone to the same standards. If a mentally ill person is competent to be on their own in society, they are subject to as strict enforcement and scrutiny as anyone else. In juveniles, we must realize that the safety of the society trumps confidentiality. Period, end of discussion. If a child is dangerous, that child should fall under the same strictures as a violent felon or sex offender. Dangerous people should be under public scrutiny, institutionalized, or both. If any person willfully allows a dangerous child to be allowed to hide behind confidentiality, they are as guilty of the crime done by that child as the perpetrator is, and should face severe criminal penalties. Period, end of discussion.

Any DA who allows known dangerous criminals to go free should face felony charges if that individual harms another person. All prison sentences should be done in solitary confinement. Prisons should not be cages for gay rape or gang havens. Every prisoner is someone who does not belong in society and should be completely isolated for the duration of their sentence. The recidivism rate would drop precipitously and self  rehabilitation would become the norm. Simply rational. 

There is no quicker way to a police state than the policies and agenda of the Left. Unbridled crime and lack of civic training and responsiblilty for our youth create a weak population, afraid to defend themselves and dependent on an increasingly corrupt government. This devolves inevitably into a police state. The anti-2nd amendment activities of the left are the first steps into a police state. No totalitarian state ever thrived in the face of an armed and trained citizenry. This is simple historical fact.

Armed and trained citizens are the first line defense against any governmentaley oppression and against crime and violence. Law enforcement departments are constabularies. They have one and only one mandate: maintain public order. The only on site defense against crime is the armed and trained citizen. Police arrive after the crime, bag bodies, take reports and investigate. Nothing they do or can do protects us from being victims. It is the armed citizen who stops or prevents crime.

Armed guards and teachers can and have prevented mass shootings at schools; armed citizens are the only ones who have successfully prevented mass public or church shootings. Armed and trained citizens save lives and stop crime, period, end of story. No anti gun law has ever been shown to decrease violent crime, only to take away the sole effective protection against violence ever shown to work. Prosecuting an inanimate object is insane, and not focusing on the criminal is in itself criminal.

The Reality Check before Christmas

 In several recent tweets from a sadly liberal troll, I really tried to debate the issues and with facts. I discovered that interacting with a liberal is like playing chess with a pigeon. They strut around, knock over pieces, shit on the board and strut away like they won the game. Facts and logic chains seem to be anathema to liberals. 

I no longer believe that any unity with the left is possible. They seem to be firmly on the path to a 1984 like dystopia and will not be deterred. They may wish for such a dystopic nighmare, I do not. 

Here is the reality I experience. 

There are 2 biologically based genders. Male and Female. Period, no "fluidity" Men are men, Women are women. Each with a set of fairly well defined characteristics. This does not make either one superior, it simply is. Period end of subject. There should be zero gender fluidity taught in our educational system, and all such projects approved by parents and taught outside of schools. Marriage is between one man and one woman. Traditional family is historically shown to be the most stable form of raising kids, creating a just and decent society and securing our future.

There is no way illegal aliens belong here. There are lawful ways to immigrate, and those who do so are being cheated by the liberal mediated open borders and unlawful use of resources designated for US citizens in need for illegals. This is wrong, illegal and evil. The flourishing gangs in our cities proves it. 

NO one should vote without ID. No "mail in" ballots, prone to cheating, for any other than emergency reasons, or for active duty military. Period, end of discussion. No ballot counting without equal representation of both major parties doing so . Period, end of story. 

Green energy is not feasible, and forcing it on us is dangerous and destructive. We have all the clean geothermal and nuclear energy we need for the nest 4 centuries. Yes that is 400 years of unlimited energy. We can develop a lot of technology during that period, especially if we use cheap gas and stop pushing energy modalities that don't work. Building breeder reactor coupled with our electricity producing reactors can handle and recycle spent fuel rods without danger or need to have long term storage

Health Care insurance  needs regulation, and all big tech and other mega corporations need strict anti-trust regulation. NOW! All health insurance needs to be nationally standardized and the bulk of operational hospital regulation made in consultation with NURSES. Doctors are clients, not really employees, and they need patient care available. Guess who does that professionally? Nurses! The present system is like having auto makers run by people who have no engineering or manufacturing experience. It doesn't work.  Nurses need both authority and protection, If we don't, we will find ourselves looking for someone to care for us in emergencies with no one there. 

All high crime and sanctuary cities must be put into receivership under a federal judge with military units on patrol on the streets, police departments retrained by them, city councils and mayors put on leave and investigated for misuse of power in office including an intense forensic audit of all city finances and personal finances of all city government officials. This is especially needed in Portland, Chicago, NYC, DC, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Richmond, etc. All illegals deported immediately with cooperation between NG and ICE.

All teachers and university professors should be re-vetted, forensic audit of the schools and transparency about who pays and who got money. All gay oriented and CRT curricula removed and rewrite curricula to focus on STEM, Civics, literature (classical priority), analytics and logic, classical Philosophy and Ethics, US and World history and government. study of the Constitution and how our republic operates and why. 

BLM and Antifa are terrorists and disloyal to our country. Such racist activity is as bad or worse than Nazism or the KKK, and cannot be tolerated in any civilized society. Any Muslim applying for citizenship should be required to swear allegiance to our country, and vow to denounce Sharia and to support and defend our Constitution. Freedom of religion does not include supporting any laws as superior to our Constitution in terms of secular life. Period.  Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts membership is pretty much defined by their names. Nuff said. 

Nothing in here is "phobic" anti-gay/trans, or anything else. It is both rational and optimal for society. LGBTQ have no rights different than the rest of us. Your right to be offended stops at my right to be free from oppression or coercion, from anyone, anything or the government. I don't insist on Christian values to be taught in schools (other than Catholic schools teaching from a Catholic perspective, they are CATHOLIC SCHOOLS, and students are voluntarily enrolled there. Period).

I confess a disdain for the current liberal indoctrinated male and their oh-so-entitled female counterparts. Get over yourselves, move out of your parent's house, grow up. Men, you are bred to be strong and protective, your current collective funk is partly because you are not living up to the legacy handed down to you from our ancestors. You are not meant to be a faux female, you are meant to be strong, kind, moral and educated. Your genes thrive on competition and toughness. Yes, if you marry, you face an 80% chance of a woman filing for divorce. Deal with it, and give yourself to your kids. Be better than the women you know, they can and will learn from you about  being a decent human being. 

Women, you are meant to help your man become the best he can be. You can and should encourage and support him, and stop disrespecting the nice guys. The bad boys will always do you wrong, and they will never make you happy. That hard working and self conscious guy you ignore is capable of becoming the best thing that ever happened to you. He can be a good father and husband, and he will protect you and your kids with his very life if necessary. You have to think about what that means and what kind of life you can create together. No woman or ambivalent male will be capable of that. You are genetically meant to help, heal, support and nuture, and you can hand down the very best of what it means to be human to your kids. Make the right decisions. 80% of divorces are filed by women. This is not just distressing, it is a failure of our society in its expectations of women. You share equal responsibility with your man to make your family cohesive and strong. There is no higher calling. That doesn't mean you should not be educated and even have a successful career. But your priorities must be clear and unwavering. 

Last of all. People, please do not support pet shops or puppy mills. There are literally millions of beautiful and loving rescue dogs and cats waiting to give you the only unconditional love you will find in this otherwise disappointing life. You may never change the world, but you can and will change the whole world for a rescue pet if you adopt one. You may wonder who rescued whom.

We find our government, under the liberals, becoming more and more like "Big Brother" from the dystopian novels like 1984, Animal House ,etc. This is because the Left believes that the average "deplorable" or common working class American, cannot make moral choices and individually will not make good choices for their own welfare. Thus, the Left believes an unrestricted. powerful and intrusive government is necessary for "our own good". That history has shown innumerable times this is not true is completely disregarded by the Left in their quest for a "benevolent" police state. 

Prior to the 17th amendment, the Senate functioned as the most effective check on the behavior of the government by acting as the voice of the states. This also caused the senators to be responsive to the will of their constituents, as the state legislature could at any time, fire and replace them if they failed to do so. The liberals never miss the chance to use a crisis for their own gain. The Civil War was no exception. 

Today, we see the country at its lowest point since the Depression. Thanks to Obama, we cannot trust government agencies to refrain from political activism. Biden not only stabbed our allies in the back in Afghanistan, he literally gave millions of dollars of our top line military assets to our enemies, without consequence. We've lost our energy independence, we literally kill our babies in the womb for profit, and even consider what once was immoral and perverted to be an "alternate lifestyle", while undermining the Constitution, traditional family and religion in the name of PC/Woke/LGBTQ activism.

We've lost our energy independence and no longer manufacture our own necessary goods. We are dependent on countries that hate us for our needs. Our southern border is so porous the 78,000 illegal aliens, including known terror cells and cartel funded gangs/drug dealers flood unimpeded into our country. All this thanks to our "benevolent" neo-police state. Thank a Biden voter.

When a black talking head is held to the same standards as a white talking head, why is it "racist"?

 

 Ayo Kimathi , openly black supremacist calling for mass murder of whites, is still employed by DHS. Tiffany Cross, MSNBC talking head, was repeatedly told to stop making anti-white and racist remarks by management, finally was let go. This was called racist by WaPo black apologists. Liberals, especially black female liberals in MSM and higher education seem to be allowed far greater leniency in spewing hate speech (e.g. Maxine Waters openly called for violence against families of Republican leaders). 

Yet, Joe Biden called "white supremacists" and MAGA as domestic terrorists and "the greatest danger to our country. One black TV host said Rittenhouse was a white supremacist murderer, "because he's white". Rittenhouse was shown on multiple videos to be retreating from physical attacks by Antifa street thugs, and ruled to have acted in self defense. But, because he is white, the liberal community wants him put down. Were he black, they would applaud his actions.

That no one seems to find this disturbing, unfair, racist and dangerous; this makes it disturbing, unfair, racist and dangerous. Neither Blacks nor Whites benefit from this kind of behavior; for one thing, it establishes credibility for previous white supremacy groups rhetoric. Everything the KKK, Abe Lincoln Brigade, John Birch Society, et al claimed years ago has literally been proven true. The behavior of radical black liberals is and has undermined the credibility of black activism. BLM has shown itself to be simply a scam, with its leaders making millions and aside from promoting useless violence, produced zero benefit for blacks in general. 

CNN's Don Lemon, gay black talking head, openly admitted that he doesn't even try to be objective or honest "Fairness is overrated" and liberals have turned news into nothing but hours of leftist opinions with absolutely no relationship to factual or objective news. Liberal supported LGBTQ activists, long claiming "we have no agenda" are openly grooming young children for gay predation, while liberal educators defend having gay/trans men in short skirts and no underwear, dancing for and reading gay porn to kindergarten kids. Barack Obama forced public schools to allow "trans" men into girls bathrooms, resulting in multiple incidents of " young women raped by boys wearing skirts", with a particularly lurid case occurring in Louden County Virginia. 

The infernal alliance of LGBTQ/Black/Progressive Liberal activism has resulted in serious cultural crises in our country, with a backlash growing rapidly. What Nixon called the Silent Majority is just beginning to synthesize and organize a response, and what were once centrist conservatives and now moving rapidly to the extreme right. This is all on the Left, they started it, they promoted it and now they are worried about what will happen when., not if, the Right returns the favor to the Left. The bulk of the Right are law abiding citizens who have trusted the government to be responsible in their enforcement of the law. When iot became apparent that the Democrats in power had no intention of curbing the amoral and illegal behavior of the Left, things begin to get ugly, and will probably get more so , unless moderate Democrats stand up to the extreme fringe of the Democratic Party. 

Joe Biden and Kamela Harris are, at best, incompetent; at worst, criminally negligent and sided with the amoral Left. They cannot/will not enforce the law against Leftist bad actors. Because of this, the majority of the country is getting fed up, and if their concerns are not addressed, the extreme right will become a mirror of the Progressive Left, and cooler heads will not prevail. Those on the left will not stand a chance against the worst the Right has to offer, and they know it. More Americans lost their lives n the Civil War than other wars combined. A new civil war in the US would be even more catastrophic. The DNC has to stop this from happening and police their ranks, join with conservative politicians to make the government enforce laws equally upon everyone and fairly. Finally, MSM needs to be cleaned out, along with the education system. Both need to be focused on their real jobs, objective factual news, and STEM/classical education respectively. 

Groups like BLM, Antifa, KKK all need to be brought to heel. Believe what you want, but behave lawfully or perish. Big Tech must be forced to obey laws, especially anti trust laws. IT is a simple truth, and a simple solution, everyone in Congress, the White House, MSM and Corporate entities just need to do their jobs.

The UV shooting was a signal we should not ignore.

People have many views and observations on mass shooters and targeted violence. Very few of them have well thought out views or perception. 

Most liberals blame inanimate objects like guns for violence. This speaks to their core belief that people must be controlled by a powerful and intrusive government because they lack the judgement to make moral choices, and cannot be trusted with guns, knives or baseball bats. Only the police should have these, but they conversely state the police cannot be trusted and should be de-funded and abolished. Thus the liberals as a group lack any credibility on most issues. 

  The liberal's assertion that people lack judgement and self control is wrong, and oddly, the mechanism of mass shootings put the lie to this. White males comprise the bulk of mass shooters and the UVA shooter was black, an anomaly. "Whites are tight asses" is a comment on the way the vast majority of white men are raised; they are taught to suppress their emotions. Black men are not. Black men do not have a high tolerance for frustration. They "blow off" their frustrations at a much lower level than whites. Their level of violence is at a much more person to person level generally, only when the mob mentality/pack violence instinct is aroused. as in a riot situation, do they act at a mass violence level.

Mass shooters are men (sic) who have reached the end of their metaphorical rope. They have reached a point where, like the UVA shooter, they are ready to die and to take others with them. Rarely do blacks reach this level of wide scale violence precisely because their culture does not teach self restraint. White men live with suppressed rage from a very young age and it is a powerful, if unconscious motivator of their emotions and actions in most of their lives. 

Blacks have a low threshold for disregard of the law and social conventions; white do not. Whites experience a real inner struggle to express their emotions, and especially in dealing with violent tendencies. In blacks, violence is a part of interpersonal interactions on a near daily level. For whites, violence is built up and much more generalized than it is routinely interpersonal. 

Yes, obviously there are exceptions to this, and yes there tends to be a spectrum of this behavior. That is not the point. Lets not get distracted. 

For us to understand the real life impact of the expression of violence, we must acknowledge the reality of the social level expressed on an individual level and how it is affected by social/cultural factors. 

The very meaning of equity is that some groups, usually blacks, are not expected to obey the law. Woke merely formalizes this previously unspoken understanding. Rather than actually dealing with the intrinsic problems in black communities (crime, violence, single parent families, generational welfare, generalized disregard for law and social behavior, misogyny, worship of antisocial figures, etc) and correcting them, we, as a society, are being told to allow ourselves to be forced into a formalized double standard of behavioral and meritocratic expectations. 

The inherent unfairness of this is "excused' by the fact that some blacks were slaves. This ignores the fact that some Irish and some Chinese and a lot of Indigenous people were too. Woke and PC politics ignore this fact, and the inferred insult to all blacks inherent in the system. If you are black, the woke culture admits that you can't behave like a civilized human being, nor can you compete intellectually and academically against Asians or Whites. 

If this doesn't make you angry, I am truly surprised and even more, disappointed.
